Rules
First we'd like to start on
saying: Thank you for visiting our site and considering to join Rescue! It
really makes us happy to have new members in the shell. Now, with the rules:
A
warning:
There is no current limit on the shell as far as PG-13 goes. By joining, you
agree that you will have more maturity than a twelve year old and will not abuse
this. There are no rules against language or violence for now. Please don't
abuse this. If we find that violence, language, sexual conduct, ect. has run
rampant on the shell, a rule will be placed to limit said things.
OOC - Don't do it too much.
OOC (out of character) should be placed in brackets such as / /, (), or []. Out
of character should be kept to a minimum in the shell.
Godmoding - A touchy subject.
Godmoding, by definition, is granting your character godlike abilities such as
invincibility, time traveling, interdimensional space men, ect. Let it be known
that godmoding is NOT tolerated on Rescue. If you're concerned about if your
character is godmoding or not, you could explain the situation to a pearlsack
holder who will tell whether it is or not. Here are a few examples of what is
godmoding:
Time-traveling.
Opening interdimensional space portals and leaping between universes.
Invincibility
Immortality
Knowledge of everyone, everywhere at anytime.
Killing other characters without consent from the other player.
Being directly related to NPCs such as Kam'lanaut, Eald'narche, Trion, Karst,
the Zilartian race, or having such an influence in their storyline that it
interferes with the game's story itself.
Destroying cities, as they cannot be destroyed in game.
If you're confused about if your
character is godmoding or not, as stated before, please ask a pearlsack holder
who will gladly tell you.
RESPECT- JUST A LIL BIT.
Everyone is here for one reason, to roleplay and have fun. Please try and
respect your fellow roleplayers. Arguments on the shell should either be taken
to /tell or addressed to a pearlsack holder to resolve said argument. If a
pearlsack holder tells you to stop arguing, then you should stop arguing. This
does not mean keep arguing and ignore what the pearlsack holder is telling you.
There's all kinds of different people in Rescue, so it's pretty safe to say that
an open mind is needed while you're in the shell.
